  What a lovely Victorian experience, very clean, fantastic service and great food. I had the homemade fishcakes and my wife had the scampie which were both gorgeous at a very reasonable price. The staff were very pleasent. We called into the bakery downstairs, a great range of fresh made products. Disappointed to see the staff preparing sandwiches without wearing any hairnets.

  Very nice. Good meals at a good price and excellent service. I know these tea rooms are historical but the reason they don't get the 5 is because the main room felt dated and it was quite cold as well.
